coast2coast Customer Rally 2024

Now into our third year, we had another fantastic time at our customer rally earlier this month!

This year’s event was held at a traditional English country pub campsite in Bidford-on-Avon, Warwickshire, situated on the edge of the beautiful Heart of England Forest, boasting wonderful walks and amazing scenery, and just a short stroll to the river and the town.
 


The sun was shining, and we had a weekend of activities planned for our customers! With everyone arriving from midday, once settled and pitched up we started off the event with the traditional introductory prosecco and orange juice. It was great to see the many friendships formed at previous events quickly rekindle! Conversation Campervans had begun…
 


After lunch we re-grouped and headed off on the one mile walk from site into Bidford Upon Avon, walking alongside the River Avon crossed by Bidford Bridge, a scheduled monument. We were well looked after by the locals when we arrived in the Riverside village, taking rest at a local public house, where we sampled some local drinks and nibbles.

When we later returned to camp tea and biscuits were provided as we regrouped for a game or two of bingo! But it wasn’t until a little later, during our annual cosiest campervan competition, that everyone’s competitive streak really shone through.
Departing for evening meals, most campers enjoyed the home cooked food at The Cottage of Content before the Live Band came on to play inside to take us all into the small hours.


We have received such great feedback from all those who attended this year’s event, and we can’t wait to undertake a similar event again next year. We don’t just create campervans; we create our very own community too.
